Why Blackbox?

The Black Box theory of consciousness in psychology states that the mind can be fully understood if the inputs (stimulus) and outputs (behaviour) are defined. The Theorists are sceptical that it will ever be possible to describe what goes on inside the mind…

Luckily there are other theories and approaches that allow us to glimpse inside the  Black Box, to shine a light into the dark recesses in pursuit of answers. Drawing on such theories and approaches and combining them with the experience and skills we have built up over years, we are able to design and execute research that gets inside and into the recesses of the Black Box.

Like that other black box, the flight recorder (that isn't actually black, nor really a box for that matter), research design needs to be robust and focused on the right things. If it isn't robust, the information will not stand up to close scrutiny and if it isn't focused on the right things then the results of the investigation won't help you one little bit. Knowing this, we design and execute research that sets out with one aim in mind: to help you make 'more profitable decisions'.
